该片根据内村光良在2011年担当导演、原作、剧本、以及主演的舞台剧《出生在东京奥运的男人》进行改编，讲述了出生在1964年东京奥运年的主人公秋田泉一（内村光良饰），由于在年轻时获得过赛跑比赛冠军，令他产生渴望登上世界最高领奖台并为之奋斗的故事。秋田泉一无论在绘画还是书法等各个领域都囊获一等奖，但在中学时代去一蹶不振，尽受挫折。因此为契机，秋田泉一被上白石萌歌等主演的异性学生们玩弄。。John Day is a bank manager and lives with his wife Maria Day. The couple has recently lost their only daughter. Maria is always depressed and never opens up with anyone. One day when John is away for office work, a courier-boy enters the house and takes Maria as a captive, then a series of misfortunes start to happen.。
