一个美国人Matthew Barnes跑到英国来走马上任，负责接待他的John Gissing从Matthew下飞机就开始故意放他的鸽子，于是，Matthew开始了一场寻找之旅。终于Matthew找到了John并且发现自己是被玩了，于是反过来又把John整蛊了一番。。Set in the country-town of Upson Down, the comedy drama follows eleven-year-old Annie Shearer and her adopted stray dog Runt, as they try to save the family farm by competing in the Agility Course Grand。
