影片截取《聊斋志异》卷二《婴宁》的故事进行改编，对经典志怪传奇进行了时尚表达。讲述了降妖术士王子服（黄宥天饰）和唐闻（李欣泽饰）委托干铁锤打造“伏魔神兵”，谁知干铁锤爱慕王子服不得却意外身亡，灵魄阴差阳错进入狐妖婴宁（张月饰）体内。王子服和唐闻在追查干铁锤下落的过程中，发现婴宁的秘密，开启了一场奇幻之恋……。A struggling children's book author and his rebellious teenage daughter move into a house they've inherited and find mysterious dolls in the attic.
